Author Bio: Naomi P Lane was born in England but now lives on Vancouver Island. Married, with two adult children, she was a French Immersion / Special Ed. teacher for thirty years. Now, recently retired, she devotes most of her time to writing.

She has most recently published an eco- dystopian romance trilogy focusing on climate change called 2084: The Climate Chronicles. The first installment harkens back to Orwell’s 1984  in subtle ways. The story follows a new romance between two young eco-scientists as they try to make breakthroughs in climate science. The final installment in this trilogy will be out July 15, 2026.

Naomi P Lane’s first book is a humorous memoir called The Ultimate Cat: A Baby-Boomer’s Guide to Retirement. Her second book is a novel called The Ordinary Life of Nadia Lewis. It tells of a lifelong friendship between two women, with all its turmoil. Her third book, a novel called On Golden Land, tells of seven friends who move to New Mexico to live communally and grow marijuana. Her fourth book, Letters from My Dead Sister, is a biography of her bipolar sister’s wild life, told through the lens of a collection of old letters. More details and links for purchasing these books are available here, as well as a bi-weekly blog called The Friday Blog, which you can subscribe to on this website.
