My new novel is dropping next week!
I am thrilled to announce that my first novel, The Ordinary Life of Nadia Lewis, is coming out next Thursday Jan.28th, 2021. It tells the story of a lifelong friendship between two women. The two girls meet as young children when Susan's family moved in across the road from Nadia. The two youngsters hit it off straight away and became an inseparable force to be reckoned with. The story begins by reminiscing about their school days and childhoods; imaginative games at the mall, writing stories together, making up comedy sketches. They danced to music and fell in love with popstars. They drifted apart slightly when they joined different social groups, but they remained friends throughout their teenage years, experiencing all the things typical teenagers go through. When they turned eighteen, they went their separate ways - Nadia to university, Susan quickly moved out to get away from her parents. Life moved on and the girls grew up and started “adulting”; moving in with long-term partners, working full-time, getting married and having children. But then an unexpected crisis between their children rocks their social group to the core.
